Borderland Hike and Narragansett Beach

Yesterday was jam-packed with summer fun.  I love summer days like that because it makes me feel like we're taking advantage of this short season...

In the morning we went to Borderland to let the boys run wild.  We hiked for about a half hour and it was perfect.  Not too short and not too long.  The boys were excited to check out "the little house".  There was a birds' nest inside and the boys thought that was great.  Then we looked for "fishies" in the pond and found some.  The weather was Beautiful with a capital B.

The in-laws arrive Monday (tomorrow), so we spent some time cleaning and getting ready.  The boys wanted to hang out on Abuelita and Abuelito's clean bed...

Sebastian is fascinated with his Magnatiles and Play Mags.  He gets frustrated, though, when his creations fall down or he can't make one that looks like the inspiration pictures.  Sometimes Mama has to put them away until he calms down!

This kid just makes me laugh.

In the afternoon, we went to Narragansett to visit some friends of ours.  The boys really enjoyed playing in their back yard, eating a hamburger, and then running off to the beach.  The water was so darn warm compared to Hull!  It was great.  We were there around 6, just as everyone was starting to leave.  Nice evening.

Yeah for summer!!!!!!!
