Soccer, Carver's Pond, and Clifford Grant Reservation

Big victory on the soccer fields today...at least compared to last year when they wouldn't do anything at all and cried.  Both were happy to participate.  They had no clue what they were doing and were completely ROCKED by the green team.  The boys were too "polite" to steal the ball away from the other team.  I had to explain after that this is ONE time where you CAN steal a toy (in this case the ball) away from someone on the other team.  All was well until Adi crashed heads with another kid and got a nosebleed.  Then he wouldn't play anymore.  So we'll see if he's too traumatized to play next week.  Hopefully not!

Before soccer we actually went for a hike.  I simply can't tired them out--no matter what!  Today we checked out Carver's Pond in Bridgewater.  We even found a geocache along the trail. :-)  The boys enjoyed it--we'll definitely go back.  It's so close and easy to get to.

Checking out "the treasure."

Last weekend we went to walk a trail near Oliver Ames High School.  It was *great*!!!  It's 2 miles and we only made it part of the way with the boys, but it was still awesome.  There is even a playground at the school right near the trailhead.  Great morning!

Looking to see if there are any caches...nope.  Oh well.
