Christmas 2017

We had a wonderful holiday this year.  The boys are just the right age to appreciate Santa and all the magic of the season.  They loved their presents (mostly Lego).

Christmas Eve at Auntie Carol's was amazing as usual.  They read The Night Before Christmas before we left.  The jammies are from Tía Mimi...a tradition!

The kids played Stacrobat, which we'd never seen before.  Great game!

On Christmas Day, the boys got right at building Legos as soon as the boxes were out of the wrapping.  This Nexo Knight set was Adi's first choice to build.  He did it all by himself.
The camo neck warmer was also a big hit...who knew?!

Power Rangers

Transformers

This stuffed buffalo was a huge hit.  He's obsessed with buffalo right now...

Papa wearing bell bottoms?!

Adi build this Lego piggie bank 100% on his own.  He was so proud.

Papa left for Mexico the day after Christmas, so the boys and I did a LOT of Lego building.  It was FRIGID out--the coldest, longest stretch I think I've ever experienced.  We were getting stir crazy.  But thank goodness we had loot from Santa to keep us busy.

One of our few trips outside--to Panera!!

Building the race track from Grumpy.  This thing is AWESOME.

We hit the trampoline park one morning to get some energy out.  It was supremely crowded.  But still fun.

Sebastian lost his other top tooth!

After Christmas vacation, the boys went back to school for 2 days.  Then we had 2 snow days.  It made for a LOONG winter break!  SO...what does one do on a snow day--bake cookies, of course!  These were white chocolate christmas tree cookies, mix courtesy of my running buddy, Becky.

It was like 2 degrees out...I lasted like 5 min.  The boys wanted to stay out longer.  I made them come in and showed them pictures of frost bitten limbs after so they'd listen about the dangers of the cold! LOL.
