July 2018

July involved lots of Lego creations: Animals from Sebastian and robots and buildings from Adi.

One afternoon they had hours of fun with their old kitchen.  They were using nerf guns as knives...they have quite the imagination.

Another jungle Lego creation.  An orangutan and tree.

Plymouth with the cousins.  We went to get sea glass but it was high tide and couldn't (I forgot to check the tides!  Oops!).  So instead, we walked the park, went to the grist mill, and had lunch at the Lobster Hut.

Tio took more pictures, but they are on Facebook...I have to remember to download them and add here...

The Harbor Illumination in Hull was a great time.  Jim and family joined us, and then we slept over at Grumpy's house.

Dancing to steel drum music by A St. docks.  Lovely sunset--perfect day.  Life is good.

We went to Franklin Park Zoo with the cousins to see the gorillas.  It was a highlight for all of us!

This was grandma gorilla.  She came right up to us on the other side of the class, sat down, and checked us all out for like 10 minutes.  Amazing.

We were the first people there, so one of the docents spent quite some time with us.  She told us all about gorillas.  They never come in contact with the human zoo keepers because they can easily catch whatever diseases and germs we humans have.  The mother gorilla is on birth control (it's in her apple sauce every day), and the grandma has to fight off the male gorilla every day because she doesn't want his attention.  LOL

Adi and Sebastian had swim classes at Bridgewater State University for 2 weeks.  Adi OWNED the high diving board.  Walked up there and jumped like he'd been doing it all his life.

Blueberry picking at Ward's Berry Farm.  We made Mrs. Casey's sour cream coffee cake with these.  Yum!
