Fall Fun

We've been having fun around the neighborhood lately.  The boys are better at entertaining themselves (although they still need constant supervision, of course!), and they are better and better at explaining what they want and need.

Carlos spends time alone with them in the morning before Natalie arrives.  I discovered one evening that this is how they spend some of their alone time together...riding around on a blanket that Papi pulls around the basement!  Fun!

We continue to take regular walks so the boys can use up some of their never-ending energy!  They love to go into the woods at the edge of the road and look for "wheat."  I have no idea what it really is, but it's grass with a fuzzy top.

Here's what the house looks like in the fall, with the leaves off most of the trees in the area.  We need to rake.  I thought we would be off the hook with the tree that was in the front yard no longer there.  But instead we get all the neighbors' leaves.

The boys found the only puddle in the whole neighborhood and then had a grand old time in it.  They went back and forth over and over until they were soaked up to their knees.   I hated to let them do it, but I figured WHY NOT?   We were close to home and had no plans for the rest of the day.  I just put all their clothes, including the shoes, in the wash after and everything came out as good as new.  Their faces and squeals of delight were priceless.

The boys are ready for the Pat's game today.  I found this Brady shirt at KPMM yesterday after music class and I bought it.  Couldn't resist for like $2.  Sebastian loves "Ba-dee" so much!  He was so excited to put the shirt on this morning.  When we came downstairs to play in the morning after breakfast, he parked himself on the couch and said "Ba-dee."  He was ready to watch the game!

Adrian wore the Patriots PJs to bed last night and when I took them off him he said, "Bye bye.  See soon."  And then he waved.  So cute.  He got to wear the Barcelona shirt today so that they would both be dressed in sports shirts.

After our trip to Market Basket we went to Lowe's to kill time and let the boys drive the car and see the Christmas stuff.  They LOVED this life-sized Santa that sings and dances.  They kept saying, "Bye, Santa" for like an hour after we left the store.

Their faces are priceless!  They look so blonde in these pictures.  Can't believe it's time for a haircut again--their hair grows like weeds.  I have to start cutting it myself.

Today their friend Brooke from daycare is coming to visit for a play date.  It rained all morning and is chilly, but if it clears up (and it is starting to look like it might), we'll go to the sheep pasture just down the street to see the animals.
