Play time!!

I still need to take pictures of the new playroom and post them.  But for now, here are the boys enjoying their new space.  It looks so much better!  And, more importantly, there is room for them to move around, roll, practice crawling, and otherwise be boys.  They are both so close to crawling.  Right now they sort of drag, roll, squirm themselves around the room.  Even so they can MOVE!  I have to watch them closely now because one minute they are in front of me, and the next they are all the way across the room pulling toys out of the toy bins.  I remember watching the boys on the daycare cameras when they first started going and thinking to myself, "When are they going to be able to sit?"  I'd see other babies sitting with a box of toys in front of them.  They reach and pull out the toys that they wanted...It seemed so far away for my boys, but there they are, doing that and more.  I'm so proud of them!  ;)

Wednesday they have their 9 month pediatrician appointment, and they also have their 6 months (not 6 month old, but 6 months since last evaluation) evaluation with Early Intervention.  I haven't seen Anita, the EI lady since they started daycare (she goes to the daycare to work with them), so I'm curious to hear what she has to say!

Sebastian

Adrian LOVES Lexi.  Lexi seems to love Adrian, too.  Sebastian is not sure what to make of Lexi, and he's rougher with her.  Adrian seems to understand the concept of petting her, or at least he likes the feel of her fur and doesn't feel the need to pull it.  Sebastian is rougher in general (I affectionately call him Bam-Bam), and he yanks on her ears and pulls her hair.  Poor Lexi!

This weekend, we switched out the car seats.  I was nearly in tears.  Michelle's friend Gina who is certified in installing car seats helped Carlos make sure the convertible seats are installed correctly.  Switching out the infant seats for the convertible seats meant we also needed to switch out the stroller.  Before it was set up to hold the infant car seats.  Now, we added what we call the "big boy" seats to the stroller.  The boys LOVE the stroller now!  They can see so much better when we walk, and they enjoy taking it all in.

Adrian.  His pants really aren't that short...they were just hiked up.  And the kid won't keep shoes or socks on his feet, so forgive the fact they are hanging off his feet!

Adrian immediately splayed his legs....he loves to have his feet touching things...
