Brunch with Friends

We had a great morning today with my friend Michelle and her awesome family.  Love them all!!!  We had egg casserole, French toast casserole, roasted potatoes, and fruit salad (recipes in another blog post!).  I hope they enjoyed the food!

Today was the first time Michelle had been to our new house, and I'm glad they finally got a chance to see the space, even in its raw state with no paint on the walls, etc.  The four kids seemed to have fun in the play area, although the best toy of the day for her kids was Lexi!  And the best toys of the day for my kids were all the special things Michelle's kids gave to the boys from their collection!  It was like Christmas!

They brought about 10 different Mr. Potato head sets, a container full of Little People, a Little People house and Noah's Ark, and--the biggest hit of the day--a Home Depot work bench that is enormous AND a ton of hand tools, power tools, bolts, screws, etc. to accompany it.  It's AWESOME.  I'm pretty sure I'm going to go downstairs some night and find Carlos playing with it!  The boys loved it and spent most of the afternoon playing with it.  Thanks, Michelle!
