Mini's House

Last Monday, we went to Mini's house to play.  As usual, the boys got right to work playing.  Mini had moved the Fisher Price toys out onto the porch.

Sebastian has a John Deere hat on, but he was so proud when he got out of the car to show Mini his "Mexico" hat.  It looks similar to Papa's Mexico hat...we played along because he was so happy to have a hat that was "the same" as Papa's.

Some scenes from the town...

Sebastian is in the crib for a time out.  Mama's in the background watching TV.

They call this one Nick because he wears a hat like Nick's!

After playing, the boys had some cheesecake Mini made.  Adi went at it with a fork all by himself.  He devoured the whole piece--and part of Papa's too!

Then we played ball.  The boys enjoyed throwing the ball into Mini's tree branches.

When we got home, Adi cooked me dinner.

This week one of my favorite images was Adi mowing the rug with his mittens and his Mickey hat on.

I had to snap a shot of Adi's curls...they will get a hair cut from Maria on June 10.

Yesterday I came home to find the boys outside with Natalie.  You can hardly tell in the picture, but Tony, our neighbor, was out mowing.  So Adi was mowing our lawn, too.  They both also like to imitate Papa when he mows the lawn.

Adi has been enjoying the car...He figured out how to push the pedal and make it go right away.  For some reason, Sebastian cannot do it.  He just can't figure it out.  I'm surprised since he usually picks up new things right away.

Poor Sebastian watching Adi fly by...

Today we had an afternoon playdate with their NICU twin friends Max and Mikey.  These boys have a good time together.  We met at a park near Milton/Dorchester and had a great time!

And now I'm pooped!  Busy day tomorrow, too.  We were at the park for two hours today with the four boys.  Hopefully they will sleep soundly tonight!

As an aside, the other night while taking a walk while the boys were in bed, I snapped these photos of the house.  For no particular reason!  We haven't done anything to the yard except plant the garden.  It just looked so green and the lawn was freshly mowed!

And here's my garden.  I had just trimmed a bunch of leaves.  Look at the size of the broccoli and cauliflower!  Finally, one of the broccoli plants has a head.  The others are all just leaves.

And this is the one with the spinach, chard, and kale.

On another note, last year I bought a blueberry bush at BJs.  I thought it had died.  But it looks pretty good this year--it just flowered.  Maybe someday we'll actually have blueberries?
