Enjoying the Weather!

This post is a compilation of random photos from the past week!

Adi still insists on climbing in this baby exersaucer from cousin Kitchen.  When he gets in, his legs get all bent up like a frog.

He plays DJ and takes it very seriously.

Sebastian was fascinated with this dalmation last visit.  He said "man fall in the agua."  We were wondering what he was talking about, but then realized that a few months ago we watched part of Disney's live action 101 Dalmations and there is a scene where the man falls into a pond.  What a memory!!  My mom named the dog "Chalupa" and Sebastian calls him "Pachuca" because for some reason he can't seem to pronounce "chalupa".  He wraps Pachuca up like a burrito in a blanket every night before bed, cuddles him while we read books, and then says "Mini gave him to me."  He also likes to say "Mama, look!!" when he's cuddling him so that I will see he's being nice to his doggie.  This kid is so funny.

Adi is in love with his tricycle.  He still won't pedal it, so he goes around the whole neighborhood pushing it with his feet.

He's actually quite fast.  And he's a dare devil.  He likes to go down hills on it.

Lately, everything Adi sees "is Adi's."  He likes to say, "That's Adi's, not yours."  He's declared Mini's lawnmower his, Papa's snowblower his, etc. etc. etc.  Actually speaking of snowblowers, today the kid picked up a stick outside and started calling it his snowblower.  He wanted to take his snowblower inside to have dinner with him, but I finally convinced him to leave it outside.

Sebastian was so in love with Papa's World Cup Mexico hat that we finally bought him his own.  He loves to imitate his papa, so he wears the hat when Papa wears his.

Both boys can go up and down stairs now without much help at all.  But they are still a bit wobbly if they aren't holdng on.  It scares me.

We've had so much fun in the yard and neighborhood lately.  They like to drive their cars on the porch.  Everything is COVERED in pollen lately, though.  We just hosed everything down, but time to do it again.  Yuck.

Last weekend we had ice cream again.  The boys are obsessed with the animals at the farm and the ice cream.  This time Adi wanted all of Papa's chocolate almond fro yo.  He even ate some of it by himself with a spoon.

We spent a while playing with water in the yard.  Finally, I looked over and saw Sebastian trembling.  He was so darn cold, but didn't want to stop playing with the water.  I felt so bad!

Sometimes I look at Sebastian and find him in weird, yoga-like poses.  This is one of the strangest.

Sebastian called this Sesame Street character in one of his books "Mini" this week.  Not sure why?!

This picture just cracks me up.  Look at Adi's toes...

And, last but not least, Mini ordered a big ride-in McQueen car for the boys (but mostly for Sebastian because he kept fighting with Adi over this little jeep.).  Poor Sebastian couldn't figure out how to work the pedal and Adi got it right away.  So Sebastian was sad and frustrated that he couldn't ride in it.  My mom couldn't resist getting him McQueen.

Well wouldn't you know that the day she brought McQueen over for him to try it out, he finally figured out the little jeep.  And then he didn't want to get out of it.  So Adi ended up driving McQueen.  It's fast!

The McQueen car will last them a while, and they will definitely enjoy riding it around the neighborhood as they get a little bigger and have more coordination.  The jeep won't it them much longer--it's already almost too small!

Yesterday it rained hard all day.  The boys played in the rain with Natalie and again with Carlos.  They were soaked and LOVING it.  The water pools in the walkway and apparently they had a grand old time running through it over and over again.  (And sitting in it!)

Milton's graduation was today, so only a few more days of work until I get to be home with the boys!  I'm looking forward to all the fun we'll have!
