Happy 4th of July!!

Today is a fun-filled day!  We got up early (as usual) and went to Market Basket to buy supplies to make homemade salsa for a cookout at the Paone Compound.  Here is Adrian dressed in his 4th of July finest!

After the market, we went home and prepared our bags for Bridgewater's 4th of July parade at 10am.  This was cool for me because I haven't been in a few years, but we went EVERY year when I was a kid.  It's a typical small-town parade with mostly floats, antique cars, and every fire engine from within a 10 mile radius.  But I was still excited to see how the boys would react.  My dad met us there and we picked up my mom and brought her with us.  So it was nice to have both American grandparents there for Independence Day.

After the parade we came home and the boys napped.  Right before we left for the Paone cookout, Sebastian decided it would be a good idea to sit on Papi's head.  He is going to be a professional wrestler someday!

The cookout was awesome, but I didn't get any photos!  The boys were actually really pretty good.  They LOVED the pool!!!  I will definitely have to take them to swim more now.  The only problem is that they can't get their ears wet because of the tubes.  So it's hard to really let them swim around (with floaties) on their own without holding them.  Maybe I will have to get the Ear Band It after all...

They had so much fun splashing around in the water with their feet and hands.  They giggled and laughed!  It really kept them entertained!  Then we ate.  The boys were eating Wheat Thins non stop from the moment we got there, and so Sebastian didn't eat dinner.  :(  But Adrian still managed to eat!  He loved Anne's pasta salad--he couldn't get enough!

At around 6:10pm, we headed home for baths and bedtime.  The boys were wiped out, but not cranky or overtired.  It was a great day!!!
